Dr. Bernadette Guirguis joined VCA Spring Branch Animal Hospital in January 2021. Dr. Guirguis was born in Egypt and completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in Egypt May 2005 and became licensed in Texas in 2015. 

She chose a career in veterinary medicine because she has always had pets growing up and loves being able to aide in providing proper preventative care for animals. 

Dr. Guirguis is fluent in both Arabic and English.

When Dr. Guirguis is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading, trying new foods, and enjoys traveling. She also has two pets, a cat named Meshmesha and a bunny named Bella.
