Izzy joined us in 2021 while taking a gap year between Austin Preparatory School and the University of Maine Honors College, where she's pursuing a degree in zoology.
Izzy has an interest in animal behavior. She previously worked at Bark n' Roll, where she took a six-week course to learn more about behavior. She's volunteered at multiple animal shelters and the Stone Zoo, and she is a Fear Free™ Certified Professional.
Izzy lives north of Boston with her family, including a bearded dragon named Walter, a Standard Poodle named Frankie, and a Toy Poodle named Mango.
When she's not studying or working, Izzy enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, sports, and spending time with her pets.
