Rachel earned her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from the University of New Hampshire in 2022, and she passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam shortly thereafter. She completed an externship with us earlier in the year, and she did such a great job that we invited her to join the team.

Rachel is continuing on at UNH to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science on a pre-veterinary track. She is a Fear Free™ Certified Professional, and she hopes to go on to vet school after completing her studies at UNH and gaining more experience here.

Her favorite things about working at VCA Wakefield are the helpful and compassionate community and being able to improve the lives of animals.

When she's not working or studying, Rachel enjoys playing tennis and crocheting.

Rachel lives north of Boston with her family and two dogs, an Australian shepherd mix named Ranger and a Belgian malinois mix named Levi.
