Dr. Charlene Kriegsman graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine from which she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with Suma Cum Laude honors. She completed her clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine during her 4th year of graduate studies, working with both large and small animals. Charlene was inducted into and is a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society.
Charlene grew up in New Jersey and attended Rutgers University to pursue pre-veterinary education where she earned an undergraduate degree in animal science. During her years of undergraduate and graduate studies, she worked as a veterinary technician in Hoboken and Jersey City, New Jersey. She has a passion for oncology, soft tissue surgery and large animal veterinary care. For her, it isn't just about making a difference for the animal patients, but for their owners as well.
On her free time, you can find her reading a book, lovingly playing with her rescue dogs Lady and Jack Sparrow that she brought home from Grenada, spending time with family and friends, working out at the gym, or traveling.
