Dr. Samantha Bajorek, originally from Northern California, earned her bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine and her DVM from the University of Tennessee. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Sacramento, followed by a specialty internship in oncology at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego. In 2021, she finished her medical oncology residency at VCA West Los Angeles.
Dr. Bajorek enjoys treating all types of cancer, with a special enthusiasm for the growing availability of innovative options such as immunotherapy and targeted therapies. She finds great fulfillment in the trusting relationships that develop with pets and their families, often extending into lasting friendships beyond the patient’s life. Having personally experienced the challenges of a cancer diagnosis in a beloved pet, she brings empathy, openness, and a strong sense of partnership to every case, believing that facing the journey together makes all the difference.
