Our Team Overview

Dr. Linnehan obtained her DVM degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2018. After graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital. Following her internship, Dr. Linnehan worked as a General Practice veterinarian here at VCA Westboro Animal Hospital for five years. She then spent time at VCA Shaker Road Animal Hospital and VCA South Shore Weymouth. In 2025, she rejoined the staff at VCA Westboro Animal Hospital as part of the General Practice team.

I began my veterinary career in 1999 at a small veterinary practice in Redding, CA.  I worked as a kennel assistant and receptionist.  In 2001 I was given an amazing opportunity to work for two fantastic doctors that had just opened their own practice.  In 2008 VCA bought Gateway Animal Clinic and it became VCA Gateway Animal Hospital.  I have been working as the hospital manager there for the last 20 years.  Additionally, I have worked as the interim manager at VCA Valley Oak in Chico, CA.  Both of these hospitals were very different from each other but what they both had in common...
