Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a client service representative at VCA A Plus Animal Hospital. I have been in the veterinary field for three months. I am from Arizona, but was raised in Reno. I joined the veterinary field because I love animals and wanted to educate myself on how to care for my pets. I am also intrigued by veterinary medicine. My educational background includes a bachelor's in psychology. I aspire to become a veterinary assistant soon, as well as obtaining my veterinary technician license. I have four pets – Arnie, a 9-year-old goofy, playful, vocal boy who loves cuddles. A 7-year-old named Winry who is shy and timid, but will play fetch for hours. A 5-year-old cat named Chaos who is a queen with all the rest of her peasants. And finally, a 1-year-old cat named Luci who is mischievous and playful. In my free time, I love reading (and building my own library), painting, singing and creative writing.
