Hello, my name is Kaisha, and I am a veterinary assistant/veterinary technician student at VCA A Plus Animal Hospital. I have been in the veterinary field since 2014. I am from Nevada and moved to Reno for some change. I joined the veterinary field because I have ALWAYS loved animals and I was in FFA during high school and it inspired me to continue to learn more. I am currently enrolled in the veterinary nursing program at TMCC. My professional interests include zoology and wildlife rehabilitation. I have five animals—a 4-year-old cat named Cheddar Bob, who is wild, loud, a spaz, and unique; a 3-year-old Chihuahua named Sisu, who is a cuddly, tiny, fierce people-lover; a 4-year-old cat named Burnt Popcorn, who is so beautiful, nervous, and affectionate; a 3-year-old Terrier Mix named Sheldon, who is obnoxious, lanky, athletic, and insane; and finally, a 1-year-old leopard gecko named Everything Bagel, who is perfect, reclusive, untamed, and spoiled! In my free time, I like to kayak, paddleboard, spend time with my daughter, go on adventures with my partner, and hang out with my family.
