Austin Vetter
Emergency Veterinarian DVM
Dr. Austin Vetter grew up in San Diego, California, where he also met his wife while attending UCSD. While he was an undergraduate, he worked in a fisheries laboratory doing genetics research and participated in a couple of shark tagging trips. After taking two years off to complete veterinary assistant training and work with the marine mammal foundation, he went to veterinary school at UC Davis. The 2021 grad spent most of his time organizing intramural sports teams to get people out of the classroom and establishing work-life balance. After school, he completed a rotating small animal internship in the East Bay before moving down to LA to work as an Emergency clinician. His main interests are spending time with his wife, corgi, and rabbit, but when he gets the chance, he loves to scuba dive.
