Lisa grew up in San Diego, California, and got her bachelor's degree in Art and English before moving to Indiana to pursue her master's in Medieval English and soon realized that she was spending more time at her job at a local animal hospital than she was with Chaucer. So, she moved to Colorado to attend Bel Rea Institute and graduated in 2007. She did her internship at another specialty/emergency practice in Denver and was hired on as an overnight technician. She has also worked at other specialty/emergency practices in Colorado and Texas. In 2012, she missed Colorado and moved back from Texas and settled at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital as the weekend supervisor. Recently she was promoted to technician manager and is enjoying her new job.
Lisa spends her free time with her husband and her house full of grey cats. She enjoys reading, swimming, camping and baking.
