Dr. Leslie Bass is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who serves as the medical director at VCA Algiers Animal Hospital. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Bass graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School before earning both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees from Louisiana State University.
Following her graduation from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Bass practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada, gaining valuable experience in diverse clinical settings. She is a proud member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA). Her professional interests focus on internal medicine and animal behavior, areas in which she continues to grow and specialize.
Outside of work, Dr. Bass is a devoted pet owner of three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cinnamon, Charlie, and Teddy. She enjoys spending time outdoors, cheering on LSU and Saints football, and playing soccer and volleyball.
