Dr. Eva Roehrkasse grew up in Nevada, getting her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Nevada-Reno. She then went to the University of Missouri-Columbia for her Veterinary degree, which she attained in 1992. After a small animal internship at the Sacramento Animal Medical Group from 1992-1993, she began practicing full time, finally ending up at VCA Blossom Hill in 2002. Her special interest in the veterinary field is feline medicine.
When not at work, Dr. Roehrkasse enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and photography, hobbies she shares with her husband, Carter, and daughter, Avery. Also at their home in San Jose are three cats, Badger, Kukui, and Kitty Pot Pie, as well as a lot of fish, including a Betta named RuPaul.
