Dr. Stacy Hare is a true East Coast transplant. Growing up in Maine, she did her undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, earning a B.S. in Animal Science. She then went to Tufts University for her degree in veterinary medicine, graduating in 2002. Immediately upon graduation, she moved to California and began work at VCA Blossom Hill. Her special interests include dentistry, surgery, and working with rescue groups. Her favorite part of her job is helping people take the best possible care of their pets. She is also a board member of the Silicon Valley Pet Project
In her spare time, Dr. Hare enjoys horseback riding, biking, skiing, and reading. She is currently living with her husband, Kyle, and two cats named Smeagol and Wendy, and a dog named Mojo.
