Dr. Isler is from Long Island, New York. She always loved animals of all kinds and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at a young age. She attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She then pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. 

After graduation, Dr. Isler completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship with Vets Pets in North Carolina. She then worked as a full-time emergency veterinarian in North Carolina before moving to Miami. 

Dr. Isler moved to Miami earlier this year with her English husband, Jonny, and their two rescue dogs, Murphy and Ralphie. She is extremely excited to join the VCA Brickell team because of the family atmosphere of the clinic and the team's dedication to providing the highest quality care for their patients. 

Dr. Isler has a special interest in emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family, paint, read mystery novels, learn new languages, and go to the beach.
