Dr. Kaitlin Chauvin is a Metairie native. She went to St. Edward the Confessor for grammar school and Mount Carmel Academy for high school. Dr. Chauvin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Louisiana State University in 2016. She then went on to LSU School of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2020. During undergraduate and veterinary school, Dr. Chauvin worked at VCA Airline Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant and kennel technician. Prior to returning to the VCA family at VCA Causeway Animal Hospital, Dr. Chauvin worked in a mixed animal practice in Rayne, Louisiana. Dr. Chauvin lives in Metairie with her dachshund mix, Garfield.
