Dr. Buela joined the VCA Central Park family as an associate veterinarian in July of 2016. She graduated veterinary school at De La Salle University Philippines in 2002 and since then has been involved in small animal practice both private and rescue driven organizations. She relocated to South Florida in 2006 and furthered her training in various disciplines. She is most passionate about surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and shelter medicine. She often volunteers her spare time helping some shelters in the local area. She is a big advocate of animal welfare. Dr. Buela is involved with various rescue and shelter groups in the Philippines. Dr. Buela has 4 cats (Cassius, Cai-cai, Joey and OC), 2 French bulldogs (Chloe and Mojo) and a marine aquarium with corals and fish. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, flying drones, and painting.
