"The reason I chose this profession is because of my combined interest in science, medicine, and love for animals. When I was young we always had a house full of animals. I loved their intelligence and loyalty, however when they were sick or hurt I felt helpless as a child. I admired our Veterinarian for taking such good care of them and at that point I knew I wanted to do the same. Now I realize how important of a role I play in educating people on how to keep their pets healthy and comforting those when it's time to let go."
