Mike K., Veterinary Assistant

Mike Knowlton was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. Following his graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Army and spent time overseas. Afterwards he returned and moved to Colorado in 2017; Recently, he moved to the Fort Collins area. Growing up he had a healthy curiosity for animals and would always find his way to interact with them; be it dogs, cats, snakes, or birds.

Aside from working at VCA Fort Collins as a veterinary assistant, he is also a reservist and while in the military, he was a animal care specialist working side by side with the military's working dogs, horses, and any other stray wildlife on the various bases. For his future, Mike plans on staying in the military and continuing his education to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
