Growing up in New York, Nicole always loved animals; however, it wasn't until she spent a summer working at a wildlife rehabilitation center, located in Connecticut, that she realized she wanted to make it her career. She also worked with a mobile equine veterinarian who taught her about equine medicine and the veterinary field.
Later on, upon coming home to New York, Nicole enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at Suffolk County Community College. After graduation, she became a licensed veterinarian technician in New York and worked in a small animal hospital.
While on vacation, she fell in love with Fort Collins and decided to take the leap and move to the mountain state. When she's not working, Nicole enjoys reading, swimming, and hiking.
