Dr. Karli Fletcher grew up in the Bay Area, California, and moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she completed her undergraduate program. She moved on to graduate from Macalester College in 2019 and Tufts Veterinary School in 2025. She and her family traded the West Coast for New England several years ago, and she's never looked back.
Dr. Fletcher joined VCA Westborough in 2022 during veterinary school as a veterinary communication technician, later working as a veterinary assistant in 2023. Dr. Fletcher is passionate about working with animals of all kinds and loves how dynamic veterinary work is—no two days are ever the same! It's also a joy getting to know pets and their people from the early stages of life through their senior years. As a new graduate, she is still figuring out what areas she's most passionate about. She enjoys client education and communication, soft tissue surgery, animal behavior, internal medicine, as well as exotic companion animal medicine (in addition to dogs and cats).
Outside of work, Dr. Fletcher enjoys hiking, birdwatching, painting, exploring new breweries, and learning to cross-country ski. Come meet our wonderful new doctor; she will be on the schedule full time by Fall 2025.
