Why She Chose Veterinary Medicine: The reason I got into veterinary medicine is because of my father. Since I was a little girl, my father was a huge animal lover and made sure our house was always filled with pets. He would only adopt animals from the Humane Society that had been there the longest. On my way home from school, I would bring home injured animals, and my father would bring them to our local veterinarian.
Favorite Part of Working with Animals: Watching them come in as puppies and kittens and grow through the years.
Fun Fact: When I lived in Arizona, I used to go to reservations with the veterinarian I worked with, and we vaccinated and treated the strays on the reservation.
What She's Known For: Giving cookies to all the pups.
