Natalie, LVT Supervisor, joined the VCA Knapp’s Corner team in the fall of 2024. She worked closely with Dr. Ambrose at our sister hospital, VCA Woodland, and together they grew with a passion for gold-standard care.
Natalie has wanted to work in veterinary medicine since she was five years old. Her earliest hero was James Herriott and now includes the iconic Dr. Temple Grandin. Since acquiring her national license, Natalie has worked in many facets of veterinary medicine including small animal, large animal, emergency, specialty, academia, and biomedical research.
When Natalie heard that Dr. Ambrose had been chosen to pilot this brand-new practice, she couldn’t help but throw her hat in the ring. She joined this team with the goal of continuous growth and development for staff, as well as the veterinary field in general. Her passions include client education, anesthesia, and general nursing care.
Outside of the hospital, Natalie loves to read (especially Stephen King), play video games, and hike around Western Michigan. She lives with three cats, two dogs, a wonderful partner, and her two young boys.
