Dr. Wessels attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. Gig 'em! She is originally from Austin, Texas, and is enjoying getting to explore the Reno area. Her interests include internal medicine, radiology and working with exotic species.
In her free time, Dr. Wessels enjoys hiking, traveling, and any chance to attend a live music event. She also has a mild addiction to watching Love Island and listening to true crime podcasts. Dr. Wessels is the proud owner of two cats, Fitz and Salem, a new Labrador puppy named Zilker, and a Guyana Pinktoe Tarantula named Bob. She looks forward to meeting you and your pets!
