Dr. Shalom Cebollero was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and grew up by the beautiful beaches on the southwest of Puerto Rico. She started working as a veterinary assistant at Animal Medical Hospital in Cabo Rojo, PR, while attending the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where she obtained her Bachelor's in Biology in 2013.
After working 7 years at Animal Medical Hospital under great mentorship, her love for animals, patient care and client education grew and she was inspired to become a veterinarian. In 2016, she moved to the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts to fulfill her dream of becoming a Veterinarian at Ross University. During her time in veterinary school she had the amazing opportunity of joining an externship in South Africa with SA World Vets where she participated in wildlife health, conservation and relocation. After enjoying almost 3 years on island, she took on another adventure and moved to England to complete her Clinical Year in the Royal Veterinary College of London.
In 2019, she became Dr. Cebollero after completing her Doctor's in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University. After being away from family for so long, she was eager to move to Florida to spend time with her nephews and siblings. Her main veterinary interest are surgery and client education. Her hobbies are to travel, explore different cultures and spending time with friends, family and her pup.
