Meet Alex! Born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts, Alex has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember and always knew she wanted to work with animals.
She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor's degree in communication in 2014, where she also served as captain of the women's varsity ice hockey team. After spending about seven years working in human medicine, Alex transitioned into veterinary medicine in 2022. She started as a client service representative and worked her way up to becoming VCA Palo Alto's outpatient coordinator and one of its veterinary assistants. She has a passion for hands-on patient care and helping ensure every pet receives the best possible care.
Outside of work, Alex is an avid sports fan and loves cheering on her favorite football team: the J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets! She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing sports, and listening to Taylor Swift.
