Dr. Matthew Schug earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University after completing his undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences at North Carolina State University. Originally from Zebulon, North Carolina, Dr. Schug has been a veterinarian with VCA since 2021, practicing in Arizona.
At home, he enjoys the company of his two cats, Toothless and Cappuccino. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Schug loves traveling, exploring amusement parks, hiking, and playing video games.
Professionally, he has a special interest in dentistry and internal medicine, and he finds the greatest reward in helping people by caring for their beloved pets.
