Dr. Ríos always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She achieved her dream by graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical year at Auburn University. During school, she was very interested in surgery and oncology. After graduating, she pursued and completed a rotating internship here at VCA RIVER. Dr. Ríos developed a passion for emergency medicine which prompted her to practice as an emergency veterinarian in our facility. She is a Puerto Rico native and can communicate with clients in both English and Spanish, and is currently learning to become fluent in Portuguese. In her free time, she loves dancing, going to the beach, traveling, going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends.
