Dr. Kacey Hung was born and raised in Miami, FL. She is Cuban-Chinese from her father's side and Nicaraguan from her mother's side. Dr. Hung has really enjoyed growing up in this vibrant city as she has been able to experience the cultural diversity Miami has to offer. Her favorite pastimes are spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and exercising. She is fluent in Spanish and mildly fluent in French. Dr. Hung attended Coral Reef for high school and was in the International Baccalaureate academy. She then attended Florida International University where she got her degree in biological sciences. Afterwards, she went to veterinary school at St. George's University and completed her clinical and surgical training at University of Florida. During her clinical year, Dr. Hung had the opportunity to do an externship at VCA South Dade and since then knew that is where she would love to practice after she graduated from veterinary school. She feels truly blessed to have received the opportunity to work here amongst such a great team and organization.
