Dr. Sepuya grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico and attended New Mexico State University for her bachelor's and master's degrees. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2018. After graduation, Dr. Sepuya completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Sepuya then completed a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at North Carolina State University prior to returning to New Mexico.

Dr. Sepuya enjoys any opportunity to teach. She likes to read, travel, run, and spend time with family and friends on her time off.
