Dr. Connie Martin graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in molecular environmental biology. She then attended veterinary school at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her undergraduate and veterinary education, Dr. Martin worked as an emergency care and ICU veterinary technician. After veterinary school, Dr. Martin completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital, with a focus on emergency and critical care. Her professional interests include toxicology, heat stroke, and patient advocacy. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her small rescue dog Fern, baking, and yoga.
