Dr. Mark Jeon grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, and attended Colorado State University, where he earned both his undergraduate and veterinary degrees. Following a small animal rotating internship at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Jeon completed his medical oncology residency at Oregon State University.
Dr. Jeon's intent is to integrate the latest cancer therapies and focus on a team approach with his patients, their family members, and the supporting veterinary team. He acknowledges that navigating a cancer diagnosis can be emotionally difficult, and his goal is to provide each family with as much information and treatment options as available. His patient care philosophy focuses on client empowerment and advocacy of patient quality of life.
When out of the clinic, Dr. Jeon enjoys being outdoors and exploring our National Parks, as well as frequenting the local thrift stores.
