Dr. Joanne Shinozaki was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She received her undergraduate degree at U.C. Berkeley and her veterinary degree at U.C. Davis. Dr. Shinozaki completed her internship at Purdue University, followed by a concurrent residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine and a master's degree in veterinary medicine at Washington State University. Dr. Shinozaki is board certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shinozaki enjoys hiking, yoga, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. She recently adopted a young, rambunctious terrier from a local animal shelter, who she absolutely loves.
Dr. Shinozaki aims to provide specialized and compassionate patient care utilizing a team-oriented approach to provide excellent service.
