Dr. Pierce Chan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with specialization in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to acquire a Doctor of Veterinary medicine degree at University of California-Davis and a Master of Clinical Science degree at Colorado State University. 

Dr. Chan completed a rotating internship at Kansas State University, an internal medicine specialty internship at VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center and an internal medicine residency at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Chan was awarded Board Certification in Internal Medicine with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in September 2021. In his spare time, Dr. Chan enjoys watching movies, relaxing at the beach, and skiing.
