Kelcie graduated from UMass-Newton (formerly known as Mount Ida) with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology in 2019. While in school, she completed an externship here and was hired as a client service representative in late 2017. She was soon promoted to veterinary assistant, and she became a certified veterinary technician in 2020. Kelcie has also worked in the internal medicine department at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital.
Kelcie is a Certified Fear Free™ Professional. Prior to joining us, she worked at PetSmart for more than 10 years, and she continues to volunteer assisting in wildlife rehabilitation.
Kelcie's had a variety of pets over the years, including cats, dogs, mice, fish, and axolotls. She grew up on Cape Cod and currently lives north of Boston.
