Dr. Ashley White received her BS in Biology with a minor in Religious Studies from San Diego State University, and her DVM from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she complete a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. White chose to become an emergency room specialist because she loves the fast pace and variety of cases in the ER. She finds the ability to help animals and support their owners in emergency situations extremely fulfilling.
Dr. White chose VCA West Coast because she wanted to work somewhere she would constantly be challenged, and never stop learning from the brilliant minds around her. She's very proud to be part of the excellent level of medicine practiced at VCA.
Outside of work, she enjoys working out at the gym, hiking with her pit mix Dora, reading, and wine tasting.
