Wendy is another AVCC team members who is also a native Los Angelino where she attended and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a BA in animal science. She began her career and passion for the veterinary field as a kennel attendant in a general practice in Long Beach, where she soon sparked an interest in veterinary cardiology. This led Wendy to VCA AVCC, which was cardio-centric in the veterinary world at the time, lending an opportunity for her to grow and master her technician skills to eventually becoming an RVT. She has worked in all departments including emergency, ICU, and led the cardio department up to where she is today as one of our co-technician supervisors, leading our technician team through growth and development.

In her free time, Wendy loves spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, or paddle boarding with her husband, Adrian, daughter, Gwen, and son, Aiden, or just cuddling with her furry canines, Dug, Rex, and Teddy.
