Courtney went to college in southern California and later obtained her certification via the American Animal Hospital Association in 2014.
She began working for VCA as an intern in college. It was a huge hospital in southern California that also saw many exotics and wildlife. She moved back to Indianapolis in 2017 and found herself primarily working in general practice hospitals. In the height of covid, she made it back to emergency medicine and what a crazy time that was! After a year of being in emergency medicine again, she branched off and began working for herself in the capacity of relief. She started relieving our emergency department in the fall of 2021.
She loves what she gets to do every day! "We must help those whom cannot help themselves." She also enjoys connecting with clients on a personal level and ultimately tries to guarantee the best experience possible.
In her free time, she can be seen shooting clays, at a concert, traveling, going to sporting events, or riding one of her two Harley Davidson motorcycles. She is a certified crazy cat lady and has two dilute calicos, Lana and Luna. She also shares her home with an 85lb velcro dog, a Doberman named Sig.
