Dr. Amanda Fischer grew up in New York and received her undergraduate degree in Biology and veterinary degree from Cornell University. She practiced shelter medicine for 4 years before joining VCA in 2019 to focus on companion animal medicine. She has special interests in infectious diseases, ultrasound, and exotic pet medicine (small mammals and reptiles). Outside of work she enjoys hiking and traveling with her family. She has even taken her cat to the Grand Canyon!
