Dr. Kasuya graduated from St. George's University in 2016. During his time in veterinary school, Dr. Kasuya organized and participated in multiple volunteer missions to provide basic veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, and education about pet and livestock health in Costa Rica. He served as a delegate for the Student American Veterinary Association for two years. he was then elected as Information Technology Officer for the Executive Board of SAVMA from 2014-2016. In 2016, he completed multiple rotations in emergency and small animal medicine at the Ohio State University.
When he is not traveling, he loves spending time with his 3 dogs, Hades, Poi and Zeus. And fun fact: He speaks Japanese!
