Dr. Adriana Flores has had a rich journey in veterinary medicine, beginning with her BVSc degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her career started in general practice in Spain before she ventured to the United States.
Once she moved to San Diego, she worked at the San Diego Humane Society as a veterinary assistant while preparing for her ECFVG certification. After passing her boards, Dr. Flores did an internship at the VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center. This experience solidified her passion for emergency care, leading her to join our VCA Animal Specialty Group team.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Flores enjoys an active lifestyle outdoors. Hiking and swimming are among her favorite activities, and she is also passionate about Olympic weightlifting. She is also a cat lover; she has a beautiful brown tabby called Moix.
