Dr. Alamo is originally from Maine and left New England to study veterinary medicine at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. After graduating in 2024, Dr. Alamo returned to the U.S. to complete a small animal rotating internship at VCA Aurora, where he has since stayed on to practice emergency medicine. In addition to small animal care, he is passionate about wildlife conservation medicine and has participated in rhino conservation work in South Africa. Dr. Alamo hopes to continue combining international travel with his veterinary career.
