Joshua G. Chern, DVM, joined the VCA Bent Tree Animal Hospital family in May 2017. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Chern had the unique experience of living overseas during middle school and high school. He came back to the states to study Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, earning his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in College Station. Dr. Chern is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. 

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, trying new foods and wine tasting. Dr. Chern shares his home with his wife (Cheryl), two rescue kitties (Dax and Kira), and rescue pups (Lana and Peanut).
