Dr. Boisture grew up in Grosse Ile, MI, and received her bachelor's degree from University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Boisture's favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is forming meaningful relationships with her patients and clients. She finds great joy in watching puppies and kittens grow into adults, developing their unique personalities, and helping pet owners navigate new aspects of their pets' health throughout every life stage. She also enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, as learning from others keeps her motivated and passionate about veterinary medicine. Her special veterinary interests include preventive care, geriatrics, and behavior.
Outside of work, Dr. Boisture enjoys spending time on Lake Michigan, exploring new restaurants, especially those with outdoor patios in the summer, traveling, and golfing with her fiancé. She is also a loyal Detroit Lions fan.
