Dr. Shannon Leary grew up in Northville, Michigan and received her bachelor's in animal science from Michigan State University, followed by Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Leary's favorite part of being a veterinarian is nurturing the human-animal-bond by helping people better understand, care for, and connect with their pets through every stage of her. Her main veterinary interest are surgery and life support, as she is Recover Certified in both advanced and basic life support.
She currently has a cat named Natasha and a golden retriever named Finn. In her free time, she loves to snowboard and swim, go thrifting, and cooking and baking. She also enjoys traveling and watching live music.
