Dr. Marlene Noriega is originally from Southern California, earning her biology degree at Cal State San Bernardino. She earned her veterinary degree from Ross University on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts and completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University.

In 2023, Dr. Noriega moved to Western Washington, joining us here at VCA Central Kitsap Animal Hospital. In her free time, Dr. Noriega enjoys hiking, bird watching and drawing. She shares her home with two cats, Kitty and Boo, as well as three dogs, Nala, Coco and Russell.  

Dr. Noriega has a special interest in feline medicine, surgery and is proud to be a Fear Free Certified Professional. She pledges to hold each pet's emotional as well as physical well-being in mind at all times. She looks forward to building bonds with her patients and their humans.
