Dr. Alison Hart grew up in rural, central Pennsylvania and received her undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in Biology. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. While in veterinary school, Dr. Hart focused her studies on small animal medicine and surgery. Following veterinary school, she moved to DC area to pursue a small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals. Before starting with VCA, she gained additional work experience in both emergency and general practice settings. She hold special interests in dermatology and dentistry.  In her free time, Dr. Hart enjoys spending time with her family and two beloved dogs named Beans and Luna. She enjoys spending time outdoors, swimming, decorating, and baking.
