My name is Elisabeth! I grew up in a VILLAGE (not even 1,000 people!) in Illinois before moving to Marion! I always felt like I had a strong connection with animals and knew I wanted to do something with them, but wasn't sure what. It was when my cat, Billy, had to be euthanized due to a horrible urinary obstruction when I was in high school I realized that I wanted to work with veterinarians in helping pet parents care for their pets so they can live long and healthy lives. I have a full house of fur with four cats and two dogs, and every single one of them is spoiled rotten! When not working, I am a professional photographer (not really), taking a remarkable amount of photos daily of my pets. When I am not annoying them with my picture taking, I like to walk around my neighborhood with my dogs or cuddle up to them and watch movies or read.
