I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I earned my bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Puerto Rico and then went on to attend veterinary school at Louisiana State University. I had been practicing veterinary medicine in Las Vegas after graduating in 2013, until moving to South Florida to be closer to family. I have been with VCA since November 2016. I love taking care of our clients and their pets and take a special interest in internal medicine and dermatology. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking. I share my home with my husband, two daughters, our dog, Gooz, and our cat, Minu. I am fully bilingual and love being able to help our Spanish speaking clients so they can make informed decisions and get the best care for their pets.
