Marlana Brown, Staff Veterinarian

DVM

A native of Clearwater, Fl, Dr. Marlana Brown attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science as well as her Master's degree in Agribusiness. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Brown was a small animal veterinary technician for three years and volunteered with several animal rescue organizations. After receiving her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts in the West Indies she completed her clinical training at the University Of Florida College Of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Brown joins our team at VCA HAH to further develop her special interests in soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and ultrasound. She also has aspirations to pursue acupuncture, rehabilitation, and ABVP certifications in the future.

In her free time, Dr. Brown loves to spend time at the beach or pool, traveling whenever possible, and playing with her boxer, Laila and her "coconut retriever", Guinep. She has two cats as well, Button and Zipper, and a leopard gecko named Pete. A recent new resident to South Florida, Dr. Brown looks forward to enjoying all this area has to offer.
