Dr. Diana Zapata was born and raised in Colombia, where she graduated from the University of Antioquia. Diana joined Hollywood Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician for Dr. Larry Dee and after several years, she obtained her Florida veterinary license. In 2008, she completed an internship at VCA Hollywood where she gained valuable experience. Opening the door into Eastern Medicine, Dr. Zapata continued her education by studying small animal acupuncture at the CHI institute and has integrated her years of experience, her love of animals and her compassion for people into her veterinary practice.
Dr. Zapata rejoins our team after 6 years of local experience. She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her friends and taking care of her sweet ferrets and beautiful cats. Dr. Zapata welcomes the Spanish speaking community of pet owners.
